HVAC Technician, Assoc Position Overview :

Duties :

Responsible for preforming HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting and repair tasks safely in commercial and industrial settings on various types of split systems, packaged rooftop units, heat pumps, pneumatic, electrical control systems, and other mechanical equipment including desiccant dehumidification / humidification.

• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair systems with meticulous attention to detail.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Installs, programs, and calibrates HVAC control systems.
• Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned.
• Maintain effective communication with higher-level HVAC Technicians and supervisor.

Job Knowledge and Educational Requirements :

Experience : Level I

Level II

Minimum two (2) to six (6) years' of experience in all phases of HVAC commercial / industrial experience.

Level III

Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in all phases of HVAC commercial / industrial experience.
