Job Title
The primary purpose of this position is to manage the administration of daily outbound shipments to customers and other distribution centers within the organization by ensuring routes are scheduled and sequenced in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner. Must ensure a safe and secure working environment and operate in a profitable manner.

Supervision : Routers Relationships
Internal : Transportation and Warehouse Management, VP Operations, Drivers, Warehouse management, Sales leaders External : Customers
Qualifications
Education / Training : High School Diploma or GED required; four-year college degree preferred. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities : Computer skills, inventory control, supervisory / leadership skills, familiarity with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements. Ability to openly and effectively communicate with all associates / departments within the company. Ability to handle day-to-day operations. Must be able to use, or learn to use, all equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) i.e. OmniTracs, Roadnet, Mainframe, Tandem and tools used to perform the job. Must know / have ability to learn MSDS information regarding all material used within the scope of the work. Related Experience : Minimum of 3 years in a transportation / operations supervisory role and 3 years of routing experience with 1 year of the experience in a high volume cases shipped environment required. Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required (I.E. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, And Access), Proficient in Routing Software required, Effective Communication Teaming
Compensation depends on relevant experience and / or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example : state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $55,000 - $90,000.
