Lead Interior Designer |  Houston, TX | In-Office | Full-Time

If you’re an experienced designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity, leadership, and craftsmanship, this is an opportunity to make your mark. We’re hiring on behalf of our client, a boutique residential design studio where artistry and collaboration go hand-in-hand.

As a Lead Interior Designer, you’ll be a key creative force—shaping concepts, guiding Junior Designers, and ensuring project excellence from vision through installation. This role is ideal for a designer who loves interiors, values craftsmanship, and is ready to inspire both clients and colleagues with a thoughtful design approach.

The Role

• Lead design development, crafting and presenting concepts that align with client goals and studio standards
• Source and curate materials, finishes, and furnishings with artistry and intention
• Produce detailed drawings, construction sets, elevations, renderings, and other specifications (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar)
• Stay ahead of design trends, innovative products, and industry advancements
• Mentor and provide guidance to Junior Designers, fostering growth within the team
• Lead client meetings, site visits, and installations with professionalism and creativity

Present design concepts with clarity, artistry, and confidence

Qualifications

Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
