Seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician for a locum tenens role in West Virginia. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic urgent care environment, delivering essential healthcare services to patients with non-life-threatening conditions. Join our team for a 13-week assignment starting September 1, 2025, and contribute significantly to patient care.

Job Details

Location : West Virginia

Start Date : September 1, 2025

End Date : December 1, 2025

Shift : 12-hour days, 8 AM to 8 PM

Employment Type : Locum Tenens

Job Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care or 1 year in emergency medicine

Comfortable treating patients of all ages

Proficient in orthopedic procedures (splinting) and wound care

Ability to work independently and manage various urgent care cases

NPDB self-query submission required with application

Responsibilities

Provide care for patients with cold / flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, and minor burns

Perform suturing, wound care, I&Ds, and splinting

Conduct X-rays, EKGs, and draw blood / IVs

Refer high acuity cases to the local ER
