Description :
OuterBox is searching for Project Manager Lead to lead a small team of project managers and a portfolio of clients through website projects focused on enhancing client’s online presence and generating qualified leads. This role includes both project management and leadership responsibilities. Digital marketing and agency experience are preferred.

- Lead Website Projects : Oversee the strategic planning and execution of multiple website development projects, managing timelines, budgets, and client priorities.
- Lead People : Lead and develop a team of project managers by providing ongoing coaching and mentorship, and implementing performance improvement strategies to optimize team effectiveness and project delivery outcomes.
- Conduct regular 1 : 1 meetings and annual performance reviews with direct reports, providing constructive feedback and setting goals for continuous professional development and growth of team members.
- Foster collaborative environment amongst team to promote effective and efficient project communication and management. Empower team members to own their projects and make decisions to deliver projects on time, in budget, while maintaining OuterBox delivery standards.
- Strategic Vision & Execution : Set and maintain the strategic direction for client projects, ensuring alignment with OuterBox best practices and client business goals. Drive projects to meet scope, timing, and quality standards.
- Resource Management : Plan and monitor project team resources, adjusting as needed based on scope, workload, budgets, and client needs.
- Risk & Communication Management : Proactively communicate project status, address risks, and develop contingency plans with team members and managers.
- Client Relationship Management : Serve as the primary contact for your portfolio of clients, ensuring confidence through various communication channels including in-person visits, video calls, phone calls, and emails.
- Client Experience : Deliver a personalized client experience, communicating effectively on project progress, results, timelines, and deliverables.
- Cross-Department Collaboration : Partner with sales, Account Management, SEO, Design, and Development teams to ensure successful website launches that meet client objectives and OuterBox quality standards. Every department contributes to creating opportunities for our clients, providing a great experience, and retaining our clients.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify areas for process improvements and support best practices in SEO, SEM, web design and development, analytics, and video.
- Industry Knowledge : Stay updated on digital marketing and B2B industry trends to enhance your expertise and credibility with clients and teammates.
- Continuously stay updated on project management & digital marketing verticals to grow your knowledge and build credibility with teammates and clients. Participate in ongoing BSchool training to build credibility & business acumen with both teammates and clients, and share your insights.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Work Environment
Fast-paced, dynamic office environment and may be required to work outside of regular office hours to resolve issues or complete projects of the department.

Requirements :
4+ years of digital marketing experience & website development exposure preferred. Agency experience is preferred.Experience leading a team to meet goals and deliver successful outcomes. You are capable of guiding, coaching, and having constructive conversations.Project Management Expertise : Proven experience in managing and delivering projects on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards. Skilled in guiding teams and having constructive conversations to achieve goals.Familiarity with Project Frameworks : Knowledge of project management methodologies like Agile and Waterfall, gained through experience, coursework, or continuing education.Client Service Experience : Extensive experience as the primary client contact, with a strong sense of urgency and proactive communication across all channels (email, video, phone, in-person) that builds trust and reliability.Digital Marketing Knowledge : Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, web design, and development.Excellent Communication Skills : Strong in active listening and critical thinking, ensuring clear and timely communication with clients to deliver a great client experience.Organizational Skills : Strong organizational and time management abilities, with experience tracking and managing resources through project management tools.Multitasking Ability : Capable of managing multiple projects with varying scopes, budgets, and timelines, while remaining flexible and proactive in adjusting to changes.Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical skills, able to perform root-cause analysis, and develop effective solutions by considering all perspectives, including those of teammates and clients.Preferred Technical Qualifications
Familiarity with marketing analytics & lead qualification tools; Google Analytics Certification a plusProficiency in Project Management tools like Clickup Mavenlink, Basecamp, Monday.com, and / or TrelloA basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and / or common Content Management Systems is preferredProject Management certification (like PMP, Google Project Management Certification) or goals to work towards itPhysical Demands
Primarily involves sitting at a desk and using a computer for extended periods of time.Light physical activity is also required, such as carrying equipment or setting up for presentations.Requires a high level of mental focus and the ability to work under pressure.Good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and the ability to use a computer for extended periods are required.Work Authorization / Requirements
