Financial Reporting Specialist

The Financial Reporting Specialist is responsible for supporting the financial aspects related to fleet operations and projects. This includes assisting with budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation for fleet management, assisting with the financial operations of a fleet comprising approximately 1,000 vehicles. The role also involves managing leasing activities and collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies. Additionally, the Specialist will be responsible for the compliance, reconciliation, and auditing of E-ZPass / BESTPass, auditing of vehicle usage and fuel cards, and performing other duties as assigned by their direct supervisor.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or a minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree. Minimum 2 years of experience in financial administration, project management, or related roles. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. High level of integrity and accountability. Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams. Strong proactive attitude toward problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Working Environment
This position requires a balance of financial administration skills with hands-on fleet management coordination, ensuring financial accuracy, cost control, and compliance with company policies. The Fleet Financial Coordinator assists in key operational and financial processes, making it a pivotal role in supporting both the financial and operational success of fleet management.
