Manufacturing Cost Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Cost Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in interpreting customer requests for quotes (RFQs), machining, and welding drawings to determine the scope and requirements necessary for accurate and timely estimates.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer RFQs, machining, and welding drawings to determine scope and requirements.
• Develop detailed cost estimates using internal data and supplier quotes.
• Complete and maintain cost sheets for each quote and quote revisions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing for materials, subcontracted services, and components.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to ensure accurate and feasible estimates.
• Ensure all estimates are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
• Maintain organized records of quotes, the quote log, and supporting documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
