This Sales Executive role can be filled at the Associate Analyst level or Analyst level. Please see minimum qualifications listed below for each level.
Associate Analyst Wholesale Level : Expected base salary range of $68,400 to $80,560, varies based on experience, along with commission and a comprehensive benefits package that includes 401(k).
Analyst Wholesale Level : Expected salary range of $81,900 to $91,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
The primary function for this position will be to provide accurate trade validation and modeling of all trades in the risk system to ensure proper credit, risk, financial and trading position reporting. The timely settlement and confirmation of all third party, inter-company, gas pipelines, LNG and Independent System Operators (ISO's) energy commodity transactions including pricing and volumetric verifications. Provide supporting documentation for monthly financial close and financial planning and analysis processes. Identifies settlement or confirmation discrepancies and collaborates with customers, schedulers and traders to resolve data issues in a timely and accurate manner. Processes daily trades to generate profitability reports and analysis to help explain changes in profitability. Assist in the administration and actualization of all physical & financial commodity contracts and their related costs. Process all invoices and confirmations for energy sales, reconcile brokerage data for invoicing purposes and check balancing invoices or confirms to identify any penalties or imbalance charges. Produce reports for use by the Accounting, Finance and Trading organizations while ensuring those reports comply with organizational policies, government regulations and Internal / External Audit standards. The candidate should possess an ability to understand wholesale commodity products and the settlement of power contracts; ability to coordinate monthly close processes with Financial Accounting; ensure the timely forecasting, processing, and reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable associated with monthly ISO and counterparty settlements and facilitate regulatory and compliance reporting.
