As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Control in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances and exits, manage badge access, and help to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and utilize technology such as alarm panels and access control systems. Job Schedule : Day Time

Tue 12 : 00 PM - 08 : 00 PM

Wed 12 : 00 PM - 08 : 00 PM

Thur 12 : 00 PM - 08 : 00 PM

Fri 12 : 00 PM - 08 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Monitor and manage access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry to the location.

Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.

Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access-related inquiries and directions.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal procedures and client protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.

Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activities observed during assigned shifts.

Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed during emergency response activities.

Follow all site-specific policies and procedures to maintain the security-related integrity of the location.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
