Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Boston, Massachusetts.

Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after imaging procedures
  • Screen patients for contraindications (implants, allergies, etc.) and explain the procedure clearly
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and report malfunctions
  • Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely results
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using Epic / RIS / PACS systems
  • Adhere to hospital policies and ACR safety guidelines for MRI environments

    • Qualifications

  • ARRT (MR) or ARRT (R) with MR registry required (or registry eligible with timeline)
  • Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility)
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical rotations may be considered
  • Experience with Siemens and / or GE MRI scanners a plus
