Job descriptionAcute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Neurosurgery or surgical experience preferred Current Massachusetts CSR and DEA required Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently within a team setting
An established healthcare facility in Worcester County, Massachusetts is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide coverage for their inpatient Neurosurgery team.
About the opportunity :
Schedule : 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
Responsibilities :
- Provide inpatient care for neurosurgery patients
- Manage a patient load of approximately 2-5 patients per shift
- Perform procedures such as JP drain removals (preferred)
- Collaborate with a team of APPs and residents
- No operating room duties or critical procedures required
