Cambria Suites of Rapid City, SD is seeking friendly and courteous individuals for an open van driver position. The shift we have available is a morning position starting at 4 : 30AM with a starting pay of $15 per hour.

JOB SUMMARY : The Shuttle Driver’s primary responsibility is to safely transport guests to and from the airport and / or local destinations in a friendly and courteous manner. This position also provides luggage assistance and information to guests.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE :

• Must have the ability to provide professional and courteous guest service.
• Must have good time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have good organizational skills and have the ability to multitask.
• Must have the ability to understand and follow verbal / written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license with no accidents or driving violations within the last 12 months.
• Chauffer’s endorsement or CDL preferred but not required.

Summary

The Shuttle Driver works indoors and outdoors on a regular basis. This position requires continuous driving and sitting as required to transport guests, as well as frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending and reaching throughout entire shift. Hazards may include, but are not limited to, possible motor vehicle accidents, slipping and tripping, frequent exposure to petroleum products and exposure to variable temperatures and weather elements.
