We are seeking a dynamic Group Engineering Manager to lead our Controls & Automation engineering team , focusing on BMS, EPMS , and PLC / HMI / SCADA programming . This role involves overseeing automation solutions for data centers and critical facilities, ensuring engineering excellence and customer satisfaction.

You will manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team, provide strategic project direction, and collaborate across functions to expand automation solutions on complex projects. This is an opportunity to lead high-impact projects, build a top-tier team, and contribute to a fast-growing business.

Must be located in (or willing to relocate to) Huntsville, AL.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical and Team Leadership : Lead and develop a high-performing controls engineering team, fostering a culture of rigor and improvement.
• Engineering Strategy & Standards Development : Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and methodologies to ensure quality and scalability.
• Project Oversight & Execution : Manage project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence, and provide high-level technical input.
• Design & Programming Governance : Review and approve critical deliverables, support risk mitigation through audits and reviews.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement : Act as a technical liaison, translating client needs into engineering solutions.
• Team Development & Mentorship : Support career growth and training for engineers and leads.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with project management, business development, procurement, and field teams.
• Represent the company's core values and prioritize the success of clients and team members.
