Material Handler

Join our team as a 1st Shift Material Handler, where you will play a crucial role in our operations. The first shift is flexible and runs 10-12 hour days Monday through Friday, with some overtime availability paying time and a half.

Responsibilities :

• Drive a forklift approximately 80% of the day.
• Transport and weigh products using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Utilize basic math skills to verify material sizes.
• Document information on weights or discrepancies.
• Work in the tower loader area and operate laser welding machines with precise tow motor skills.
• Lift materials weighing between 50 lbs and 75 lbs.
• Perform inventory counts and handle inventory tasks.
• Assist in other areas as needed, including sweeping and cleaning the plant.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight using an overhead crane.
• Work in the shipping department, boxing items and loading products.
• Assemble boxes and foam pads.
• Perform team lifts using pallet jacks for heavier products.

Work Environment :

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Streetsboro, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
