Responsibilities Work in a hospital IR PACU setting with both adult and pediatric post-anesthesia patients Phase 1 recovery responsibilities required Three 12-hour day shifts per week with rotating start times at 0600, 0700, or 0800 3-4 late stays required every 6 weeks Weekday call from 8PM-6AM and weekend call divided into two 12-hour shifts Floating may be required within the hospital or to affiliated hospitals IR PACU team responsible for recovering only IR PACU patients, including follow-up in main PACU as needed Must provide care for pediatric and adult post-anesthesia patients following interventional radiology procedures Will be required to complete onboarding modules during orientation and annually Rehire eligibility must be verified if previously employed at this facility and must be disclosed Return staff must have been gone at least 90 days to be eligible as a traveler Call team must respond within 1 hour Holiday and weekend call coverage expected as part of rotating schedule RTO must be presented at time of consideration; post-offer requests will not be approved Requirements Active Kentucky or compact RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 2 years recent PACU experience with IR PACU and phase 1 recovery At least 1 year ICU experience required Experience with pediatric patient care required Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (PALS may be obtained prior to start) No license hits permitted for eligibility At least 1 reference from a charge nurse or supervisor required for consideration No local candidates within 75 miles accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629560.
