Overview

Job Description - Warranty Specialist (252522)

Full-time Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 00 p.m.

Schneider is seeking a Warranty Specialist in Green Bay to review warranty-eligible repair costs on equipment and file warranty claims with vendors. The Warranty Specialist will maximize the overall warranty recovery process and document warranty procedures.

Responsibilities

  • File accurate warranty claims with the correct vendors in a timely manner.
  • Review repair costs and decide if they qualify for warranty reimbursement.
  • Identify process improvements to expedite warranty recovery.
  • Ensure all rejections and problem claims are addressed quickly.
  • Complete vendor warranty part return requests.
  • Work with other associates to ensure parts are returned to the correct vendors.

Skills and qualifications

  • Associate degree or 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft programs, including Word and Excel.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mechanical background and able to interpret technical repair information.
  • Able to understand technical service literature.
