Job description

American Gonzo Food Corp seeks a dynamic and organized Construction Project Manager to act as the interface between operations, construction, finance and ownership. You will

manage and participate in development and the critical path for new restaurant openings as well as existing restaurant renovations / construction project work. You will report directly to the CFO.

American Gonzo Food Corp is a family of diverse brands and concepts that stretches across 20 locations in Southern California, including Superba Food + Bread, Superba Snacks + Coffee, American Beauty, The Win~Dow and Pitfire Pizza. Each concept is chef and product driven, designed with their unique neighborhoods in mind and managed by a dedicated team of hospitality pros.

KEY DELIVERABLES OF THIS ROLE :

  • Participates and coordinates design and construction activities and meetings
  • Drives kitchen design process
  • Sets development meetings, then writes agenda and acts as scribe
  • Manages development A / P and bill payment
  • Leads restaurant renovation process
  • Develops budgets
  • Sources and manages company team of handymen / women
  • Supports restaurant operations on major repairs

ABOUT YOU :

  • At least 2 years of project management experience
  • New restaurant opening experience preferred
  • Hospitality General Managers, Executive Chefs and above are welcome to apply.
  • You have a passion for communication, organization, and driving results
  • You are a detail oriented multi-tasker, with strong project management skills and the ability to efficiently and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in both independent and group settings
  • WE OFFER :

  • $110k-$125k annual salary based on experience
