Position Summary :

The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining equipment at transfer stations and material-recovery facilities safely and professionally. This position is a 3rd shift with the hours of 6 : 00 pm-4 : 30 am.

Your Role :

• Troubleshooting heavy equipment.
• Welding
• Maintain and repair various types of heavy equipment, diesel motors, and hydraulic systems.
• Work all assigned shifts from the scheduled start time to the scheduled end time.
• Take an active role in the improvement of safety and health in the workplace.
• Participate in all required Company meetings, including weekly safety meetings.
• Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
• Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.
