Responsibilities :

Under the direction of the Youth and Family Program Coordinator, this person will play an important part in the work that we do each day. In addition to all other duties as assigned, this role will :

• Assist in the development, implementation and instruction of high-quality preschool, youth, and family programming.
• Create a climate that fosters YMCA goals for a fun, engaging atmosphere for all participants.
• Ensure that program standards are met, and safety procedures are followed.
• Assist with reporting, mailings, phone calls and research as requested.
• Model relationship-building skills in all interactions.
• Ensure proper care, use and storage of equipment.
• Assist in program marketing, promotion, evaluation, and retention.
• Assist with member recruitment and conversion opportunities for participants.
• Facilitate communication, provide leadership, exercise sound judgment, and provide high level conflict resolution skills.
