Teacher at Bass Private School, a unique academy dedicated to developing middle school student-athletes through academics, athletics, and character development.

Responsibilities

• Athletic Training & Coaching : Lead group training sessions focused on speed, strength, agility, and conditioning. Follow organizational pacing guides tailored to the developmental needs of middle school athletes. Inspire student-athletes to embrace discipline, effort, and resilience on and off the field.
• Classroom Instruction : Teach structured lessons on fitness, nutrition, and wellness. Incorporate sports-themed literature and reading assignments to build engagement and critical thinking. Develop lesson plans and classroom activities that align with pacing guides and academic standards. Assess student learning through assignments, projects, and participation.
• Student Development & Leadership : Model and mentor Bass Athletics' values of Growth, Authenticity, and Consistency. Support the holistic growth of each student-athlete by integrating athletics, academics, and personal development. Encourage habits that reflect grit, perseverance, and a positive mindset.
