Willamette Integrated Technology Services (WITS) is a service-driven technology organization committed to delivering reliable, responsive, and secure technology solutions across the university. We support all aspects of the institution's academic and administrative work and play a vital role in maintaining classroom readiness, device reliability, and technology continuity.
We are seeking a technically skilled, detail-oriented, and highly professional End User Computing & Audio-Visual Technician to join our User Services division. This is a Tier 2 position responsible for advanced troubleshooting, endpoint and software deployment, classroom technology support, and A / V system maintenance.
This role requires strong technical aptitude, the ability to diagnose complex issues, and the professionalism to support faculty, staff, and administrators in a fast-paced environment. WITS provides deep technical exposure, hands-on experience, and opportunities for professional growth within a highly collaborative IT team.

POSITION SUMMARY
The End User Computing Technician provides Tier 2 technical support and ensures the operational readiness of university computing environments and classroom technologies. This position manages escalated tickets, resolves advanced issues, deploys and maintains software and hardware, and supports A / V and instructional technologies across campus.
The Technician contributes to device management, documentation, training, and cross-team collaboration to ensure technology services remain efficient, stable, and aligned with institutional needs.

Minimum Qualifications
Pay : $27.28 hourly, equivalent to $56,742.40 annually
Typical Work Schedule :
Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 a.m.-5 : 00 p.m.
WITS operating hours are 8 : 00 a.m.-7 : 30 p.m., and occasional adjustments to the standard schedule may be required to support coverage needs, events, or operational priorities.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions :
Typical work is preformed indoors in an office environment. Candidates should be able to look at a computer monitor for a long period of time, be able to lift fragile items weighing up to 50 pounds, able to walk around campus buildings, crawl under desk for computer setup / troubleshooting, and feel comfortable on the top of an 8 - 10 foot ladder while troubleshooting A / V Equipment.
