Travel Radiation Therapist - $3,455 per week in Santa Cruz, CA

Job Title : Clienttion Therapist Profession : Radiology / Cardiology Specialty : Clienttion Therapist Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift : 8 Experience : Minimum 2 years required License : Valid state license required Certifications : ARRT, BLS Must-Have : Experience with Elekta, Mosaiq, and AlignRT Description : Competently performs routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with the treatment plan developed by the physician. Works independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from patients and their families through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and / or orienting other staff to the department. Must be flexible, as shifts may start anytime between 6 AM to 12 PM. Specific charting experience required, with preference for Epic experience. Must be available to go in for lab work within 3-5 days of signing. All certifications must be current and in hand at the time of submission. Candidates must disclose any background hits or DUIs prior to submission. Modules are non-billable and average 1-5 hours spent on modules related to the specialty. Please ensure all requirements are met for consideration.
