Job description

Hexnode is seeking a Junior Software Engineer in Springfield, MA. Full-time role with real product ownership and strong technical standards. Salary : $70,000–$100,000 a year. Work on secure enterprise platforms used worldwide.

Duties

Build reliable backend services and tools
Implement scalable API integrations
Write efficient, maintainable source code
Troubleshoot defects across environments
Participate in peer code evaluations
Support deployment and release cycles
Document architecture and logic clearly

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar

Proficiency in Java, Python, or comparable language

Knowledge of SQL, REST, and version control

Understanding of cloud infrastructure basics

Experience with testing and debugging methods

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
