Job descriptioncollaboration with other health professionals, assessment, analyzing assessment data establishing goals, planning care strategy, establishing priorities of care, implementing care delegating tasks safely, providing safe direct and indirect nursing care, evaluating responses to interventions performing additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation. Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. Previous experience in healthcare field preferred. Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license or active Multistate RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. New grads are required to complete Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program.

The Registered Nurse (RN I) in the Surgical Unit provides compassionate clinical care, collaborates with healthcare professionals, and performs essential nursing functions in a fast-paced environment. This role involves the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or ADN and possesses a valid RN license, preferably with prior healthcare experience.
Overview :
Compensation / Benefits
- $27.74 -$45.46 / hr. depending on previous work experience.
- Evening differential $2.50 / hr.
- Night differential $3.00 / hr.
- Weekend differential $3.00 / hr.

Our Surgical Unit at Norman Regional is seeking a new graduate or experienced RN to join our TEAM. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environment, has a strong willingness to learn, understands how to deliver safe and effective & compassionate clinical care along side a team.
Our Surgical Unit has thirty two beds, we take care of patients with both surgical and nonsurgical conditions, we care for patients through the nursing process of assessment planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Furthermore, nurses collaborate with other healthcare professionals for best possible treatment of our patients.
