Loan Servicing & Asset Management Team Manager

Under the direction of the Vice President of Servicing, the Manager I on the Loan Servicing & Asset Management team is responsible for supervising Account Managers and overseeing the performance of the off-balance commercial real estate portfolio. This includes conduit, agency, and life insurance clients. The role also involves oversight of the Portfolio Services Warehouse team and the Conversions department. The Manager ensures compliance with regulatory, investor, and internal policies while delivering exceptional service to clients and rating agencies.

Essential Functions

• Supervise daily functions of Account Managers and organize workflow to ensure productivity and compliance.
• Act as liaison and manage warehouse client relationships, including contract negotiations and subservicing transactions.
• Participate in new loan closing meetings and facilitate securitization and conversion processes.
• Review and approve complex financial transactions such as escrow holdbacks and construction draws.
• Authorize disbursements from cash management and investor reporting accounts.
• Train staff and ensure adherence to procedures and policies.
• Collaborate with IT to improve workflow efficiencies.
• Evaluate and assign risk ratings through the Asset Quality Reporting process and participate in Asset Recovery Group planning sessions.
• Recommend and implement policy and procedure revisions.
• Be present in the office to work and collaborate in-person with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
• Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and / or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (preferred)

Work Experience

5+ years of commercial real estate servicing experience. (required)
