Position Overview :

As a Professional Land Surveyor working with our team in Lakewood, NJ, you will play a key role in leading surveying projects, overseeing survey teams, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of survey data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying, a current Professional Land Surveyor license, and the ability to provide expert guidance to support the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage land surveying projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Oversee successful boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking in accordance with project requirements.
• Review and interpret legal documents, including deeds, plats, and easements.
• Provide expert guidance on complex surveying issues and offer solutions to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.
• Supervise and mentor surveying team members, including Survey Party Chiefs, CAD Technicians, and Survey Technicians.
• Oversee the preparation of survey deliverables, including plats, maps, and drawings.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and expectations.
• Ensure the quality control of survey data, including the review of field notes, sketches, and calculations.
• Stay informed about industry advancements, regulations, and emerging technologies in land surveying.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards in all surveying activities.
