The eleven-lawyer firm represents plaintiffs in various legal matters, including employment, workers' compensation, and personal injury cases in state and federal courts.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and able to manage their workload with minimal supervision. If you enjoy multitasking, have a great work ethic, and take pride in doing a job well, we would love to hear from you.

Legal Assistant / Paralegal Job Summary :
- Drafting correspondence and routine pleadings
- Calendaring and follow-up with attorneys
- Organization of files and documents
- Scheduling meetings, depositions, mediations and court dates
- Court filings (state and federal)
- Subpoena preparation
- Trial preparation
- Recording attorneys' time
- Answering phones
- Processing mail
- Responding to discovery
Legal Assistant Requirements :
- Experienced and well versed in the litigation process
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Excellent technical skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook)
- Plaintiff's experience in personal injury a must (1-3 years)
- Knowledge of local court rules and procedures
- Strong grammar, spelling and punctuation skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to type at least 65 WPM
