Salary :
This is a full-time, in-office position in the Houston, Texas area, with competitive pay and full benefits.
The Compliance & IMS Analyst contributes to the development, maintenance, and continual improvement of our Integrated Management System (IMS), aligned with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety).
This role focuses on research, analysis, and gap identification to ensure requirements are clearly understood, integrated, and communicated. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of translating complex standards and regulatory requirements into clear insights that support audit readiness, system development, and continual improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
IMS & Compliance Support
- Research and monitor standards, regulations, and external requirements to identify current and emerging trends and expectations.
- Analyze compliance obligations within the IMS framework to identify risks, overlaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Incorporate sustainability, ESG, and ethical considerations to strengthen IMS integration and support organizational excellence.
- Contribute research-based input to policies, procedures, and supporting documentation.
- Summarize findings into clear, structured outputs that support IMS leadership in decision-making.
Audit & Performance Support
Develop a broad understanding of the IMS to support audit activities and contribute to maintaining a state of continual readiness.Assist with audit preparation by aligning research and analysis with audit criteria and ensuring evidence is organized for review.Support follow-up on audit findings and non-conformances by partnering with teams to identify underlying issues and confirm corrective actions address compliance and IMS requirements.Perform internal audits as assigned, with scope aligned to system knowledge and experience, contributing to independent assessments of conformance and effectiveness.Compile and maintain operational data (KPIs, audit results, nonconformance metrics) to support management reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.Analyze data to identify trends and inconsistencies, providing documentation for root cause analysis and corrective / preventive actions.Ensure accuracy, consistency, and proper documentation of compliance and performance data.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with functional teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and consistently applied in daily practices and supporting documentation.Strengthen management of change by analyzing proposed updates, communicating compliance impacts, and ensuring mandatory requirements are understood and addressed.Promote a culture of compliance, audit readiness, continual improvement, and responsible business practices.Required Qualifications :
Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience in business, compliance, environmental management, or a related area.Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting compliance, audit, or management system activities.Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.Exposure to ESG and sustainability concepts.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment to determine what information is most relevant for decision-making.Strong research and analytical skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Exceptional organizational and communication skills.Attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency.Commitment to ethical conduct, integrity, and accountability.Preferred Qualifications :
ISO internal auditor training (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) or equivalent formal standards training.Experience with third-party compliance and sustainability platforms (e.g., Avetta, ISNetworld, EcoVadis).Hands-on experience contributing to or managing ESG or sustainability programs beyond baseline exposure.Advanced research and analytical capabilities to evaluate complex requirements, assess compliance risks, and recommend system improvements.Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills to integrate diverse inputs, anticipate compliance impacts, and support strategic decision-making.Benefits :
