Security Specialist (Physical/Information) - Senior
R&K Enterprise Solutions, Inc. R&K provides Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) in direct support of various DoD and Air Force (AF) Headquarters (HQ). This effort is to secure program support, professional services, engineering technical services that improve policy making, decision-making, management, administration, program management, or research and development activities for the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (USD(I&S), Secretary of the AF for Acquisitions (SAF/AQ), HQ AF Intelligence Directorate (A2), and elements within the Air Combat Command (ACC).
The contract provides Air Force enterprise Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) subject matter expertise related to platform, sensor, and communications infrastructure, with focus on the system and AF Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) enterprise architecture, CONOPs, policy, future technologies, STANAG 4575, analysis, facilitation and communication of evolving governance, standards, programmatic, and technical developments affecting the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) and Support to the Enterprise Program Elements.
The R&K Team is seeking a highly qualified full-time Senior Level Physical and Information Security Specialist.

Duties: The successful candidate shall:
Research and gather information on security classification guidelines and best practices for the organization.
Develop and implement a comprehensive classification guide that outlines how information and assets should be classified, labeled, and handled based on their level of sensitivity and the potential impact of a security breach.
Must be able to train employees and contractors on the proper use of the classification guide and ensure that it is being followed consistently throughout the organization.
Monitor and review the classification guide regularly to ensure that it is up-to-date and in compliance with any changes in laws, regulations, or industry standards.
Provide guidance and support to employees and contractors when they have questions or concerns about classification and handling of sensitive information.
Investigate and respond to any security incidents or breaches and take appropriate actions to mitigate the risks and prevent future incidents.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that the classification guide is aligned with the organization's overall security strategy and goals.
Position must coordinate and collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify staffing needs and priorities and to ensure that staffing plans are aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
