Job descriptionDesign and develop components and assemblies for powertrain and transmission systems. Support new product development (NPD) from concept through production launch. Apply DFM, DFA, and DFMEA principles to ensure manufacturable and reliable designs. Create and update 3D CAD models and detailed drawings using UG NX and manage design data through Teamcenter . Collaborate closely with manufacturing, validation, and cross-functional engineering teams. Ensure compliance with client’s engineering and quality standards. Communicate effectively across global teams and stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 6–10 years of experience in powertrain or transmission design . Hands-on expertise in UG NX and Teamcenter . Solid understanding of DFM / DFA / DFMEA processes. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Onsite position (Ithaca, NY) – remote or hybrid not permitted.
