Position requires :

High school / GED preferred

Valid drivers license preferred

Duties as follows :

• Operate cutting torch to cut pieces of scrap into specified sizing
• Maintain clean torch cutting tip and replace cutting tip as required;
• Complete daily paperwork including, but not limited to, a pre-shift safety inspection;
• Perform dismantling, stacking, and scrap value sorting actions;
• Perform basic maintenance actions and other general labor duties as required.
• Ability to run or learn hydraulic shears for non ferrous / ferrous material
• Bobcat and forklift experience preferred
• Outdoor work required in all seasons
• Ability to stand 8 hours

Required skills :

Full time M-F with Saturday hours

Able to stand for 8 hour shift

Must be able to work in varying natural elements

Able to lift up to 40lbs

Results orientated / Strong work ethic

Reliability, enthusiasm, teamwork

Well-developed interpersonal skills – ability to get along with diverse personalities

$15.00-$19.00 per hour
