Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst will report to the Senior Manager Finance Global Facilities located at corporate headquarters San Diego, California. The successful candidate will support budget planning, forecasts, and other ad hoc projects in support of the Global Facilities organization. The successful candidate will utilize strong business acumen, deep financial expertise, and solid communication to become an effective partner at every level of the organization.
- This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, with an expectation of 2-3 in-office days per week and additional on-site presence as needed. The individual must reside in the San Diego area and be able to commute to our corporate offices.
Responsibilities :
Lead budget planning and forecasting process working with functional budget ownersSupport monthly / quarterly close process as it pertains to operating expense management, general ledger reviews, and forecastingInteract with leadership to review actual results and variances to budgets and forecastSupport Global Facilities Business Partners in preparation for financial reviewsAnalyze data to identify trends, patterns, and outliers to assist management with decision makingExtract and compile data and report out of enterprise systems including SAP and Cognos to be distributed to a wide audience ranging from the Finance team to Senior Management. Consolidate Global Facilities financials at the functional and regional levelsProvide modeling, analytics, and general financial supportFacilitate preparation of financial analyses and ad hoc requests for stakeholdersSubmit recommendations for process improvements and streamlining opportunitiesRequirements :
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-4 years total Finance experience, preferably in a high growth environment. Experience in Facilities finance a plusFluent knowledge of the main elements and drivers of income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flowProven ability to evaluate and solve complex problems and understand the strategic implications of different business approachesMulti-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesBe proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExceptional interpersonal soft skills, able to establish strong rapport and partnerships at all levels of the organizationSuperb written communication and project management skillsCommitment to accuracy and quality while meeting multiple goals or deadlinesSelf-directed and able to work well in a team environmentExhibits clear leadership potential
