Commerce, Data & Identity (CDI) provides the core product management functions for areas crucial to Disney’s media businesses. These include initiatives and products that power digital commerce, identity, and growth, as well as those that reach uniquely across The Walt Disney Company enterprise, such as messaging and privacy, among others. Additionally, it is responsible for the data engineering, science, and products for Disney Entertainment & ESPN, along with their interconnection with other parts of The Walt Disney Company.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager II in the Subscriber Data Product team, which sits within the Commerce, Data & Identity (CDI) organization. This team develops core subscriber data products and solutions that fuel the commerce engine — driving growth, enabling monetization at scale, and guiding key business decisions through high quality data. This role will partner closely with engineering, data science, product, and business stakeholders to define and execute a roadmap that delivers high-impact data products. T his role requires a strategic thinker with deep data expertise, capable of translating ambiguous business needs into actionable product roadmaps while balancing scalability, performance, and privacy compliance. Key Responsibilities
Own and define the vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Analytics, Privacy, Governance, and Business Teams to build scalable, compliant, and highly available data products
Oversee stakeholder engagement, prioritizing intake requests, defining requirements, and ensuring timely, compliant data delivery
Develop and maintain clear product documentation, including detailed product briefs, roadmaps, and success metrics
Identify and mitigate risks, addressing key blockers and dependencies across teams
Champion data governance and privacy compliance, ensuring adherence to evolving regulatory landscapes while maintaining business agility
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of experience in data product management, platform development, data engineering, or related fields
Proven ability to manage cross-functional engineering teams and vendor relationships
Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements and deliver scalable, high-impact data solutions
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to measure success through data-driven insights
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred Qualifications
Undergraduate Degree in Engineering, Math, Science, Economics, or equivalent
Advance CS degree or MBA is a plus
Shown experience in video streaming, OTT, and subscription based services
Experience working with data ingestion APIs, warehouse infrastructure, and data sharing technologies
Familiarity with B2B2C partnerships or commerce / growth product
Familiarity with big data storage, processing technologies, and modeling techniques (Druid, Kafka, Snowflake, Redshift, star schema, OLAP, etc.

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $152,200 - $204,100 per year, in San Francisco, CA is $166,800 - $223,600 a year, and in NYC / Seattle is $159,500 - $213,900 a year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and / or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
