Job description
This is a hybrid internship with 2-3 days/week in the Salt Lake City site for Summer 2025.
We are seeking a motivated Continuous Improvement Intern to join our team in Salt Lake City. This internship opportunity will provide hands-on experience in process improvement initiatives while working alongside experienced professionals in our organization.
- Assist in identifying and analyzing process improvement opportunities across different departments
- Collect and analyze data to support continuous improvement projects
- Create and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures
- Participate in process mapping and workflow analysis sessions
- Support the implementation of improvement initiatives and track their effectiveness
- Prepare and present progress reports on assigned projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and implement solutions
- Help develop and maintain performance metrics dashboards
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field is required
- Basic understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is preferred
- Experience with data analysis and visualization is preferred
