Hours : 1st shift, days may vary | No Supervisory Responsibilities | No Travel | Pay commensurate with experience

PRN, first shift position in Imaging.

JOB SUMMARY :

The Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Echocardiographer) will use ultrasound equipment that produces two-dimensional high frequency sound waves to create diagnostic images of the heart for use in cardiac diagnosis and treatment. The Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Echocardiographer) will also work with physicians / cardiologists to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of the imaging results.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

Education Requirements :

• Must be a graduate of an approved course in Cardiac Sonography
• Successful completion of the Adult Cardiography registry exam with ARDMS preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Must be willing to receive all required vaccinations (i.e., flu shot, etc.).
