Job Title : Purchasing Clerk

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and services.
- Verify and maintain records of purchased items, costs, deliveries, and product performance.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to forecast purchasing needs.
- Maintain purchasing files, reports, and pricing information for audit and reference purposes.
- Review invoices and coordinate with accounting to ensure accurate and timely payment.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and recommending improvements where needed.
- Support compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
- Perform other administrative or clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory control.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and purchasing software or ERP systems.Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Basic understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.
