Senior Database Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Database Engineer II to design, develop, and optimize database systems for high-transaction applications.

Key Responsibilities

Develop advanced database solutions to meet performance, scalability, and integrity requirements

Design database schema based on business requirements and perform development tasks including writing stored procedures and functions

Troubleshoot performance issues and collaborate with architects to evolve the data layer and prototype new tools

Required Qualifications

B.S. in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience, or M.S. with 3+ years of experience

5+ years of hands-on SQL Server development experience

Expert knowledge of SQL Server, including triggers, stored procedures, and user-defined functions

Experience with SQL Server in AWS environments, including Amazon RDS and EC2

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration in a microservices context
