Must-Have :

• PCU experience preferred
• Telemetry experience preferred

Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care unit.

The schedule will involve variable days during the week from Monday to Friday.

There is also an expectation of every other weekend work.

The unit serves a mixed acuity patient population.

Most patients are step-down type patients.

There are occasionally stable patients on vents or pressors.

The adult patient population includes those with chest pain, CHF, pneumonia, sepsis, SBO, post-operative knee or hip patients, and ETOH withdrawal.

Floating to a geriatric psych unit as a helping hand may be required.
