ER RN Job Details - Illinois Healthcare Jobs Location : Galesburg, Illinois 61401 Facility Type : Level II Trauma Center, Emergency Department Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 - End : 3 / 9 / 2026) Nursing Shift : 12-hour shifts, 3 : 00pm - 3 : 00am Schedule : 3 shifts per week (36 hours / week), every other weekend, every other holiday Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary : $1880-$2020 Electronic Charting : Epic EMR Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license or proof of application Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Epic EMR experience preferred Ability to work every other weekend and holiday Must pass comprehensive drug screen (drug-free campus) ER RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients across all Emergency Severity Index (ESI) levels Respond to trauma and emergency cases in a busy Level II Trauma Center Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and multidisciplinary healthcare team members Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and patient care coordination Participate in department orientation and ongoing clinical training Follow hospital policies, including dress code (any color scrubs welcome) Assist on other units or respond to codes / RRT as needed Join our healthcare team in Galesburg, Illinois and take the next step in your emergency nursing career.
