Service Porter / Lot Attendant

Sanderson Ford is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Service Porter / Lot Attendant to support our service department.
This position plays a vital role in keeping our dealership running smoothly by managing vehicle flow, maintaining lot organization, and ensuring a professional appearance for all customer and inventory vehicles.

Job Type & Schedule

• Status: Full-Time

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM

• Rotating Saturdays: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

• Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience

Responsibilities

• Move, park, and organize vehicles throughout the lot and service areas

• Maintain cleanliness of the service drive, shop, and customer waiting areas

• Wash and vacuum customer vehicles after service when needed

• Assist with dealership lot organization and vehicle display setup

• Complete light facility and shop maintenance tasks

• Properly tag and secure keys for all vehicles

• Support service advisors and technicians as needed

• Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor with all customers and team members

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmissions (preferred, not required)

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Comfortable working outdoors and standing for long periods

• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Ability to pass a drug screen
