Land of Therapy is currently seeking a COTA to grow with our company. The position is based in Davenport. This position requires home, daycare, and school visits in a reasonable treatment area.

Occupational therapy assistants and aides help patients develop, recover, improve, as well as maintain the skills needed to perform their daily occupations. They collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and carry out a treatment plan for each patient. Assistants record the patient's progress and provide feedback to the occupational therapist upon re-evaluation.

Bilingual (English / Spanish)(preferred). We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide services for children in home, daycare, and schools to clients ages 0-21 years.

Essential Functions :

• Conducts patient's treatment goals, and reports to OTR for revision of treatment plan when indicated.
• Discusses treatment plan with families / caregivers as directed by OTR.
• Provide OT therapy services (treatment) to the patients.
• Keep track of your patients' progress

Basic Qualifications :

Valid Florida COTA license

Pediatric experience (preferred)

Level II fingerprinting background

CPR

Bilingual English / Spanish (Preferred)

Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation and monitoring of patient's progress.

Effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients goals.
