Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Radiology Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 30 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Title : X-Ray Technologist Location : Memphis, TN Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 – 17 : 30) Job Responsibilities : Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Ensure proper patient positioning, shielding, and safety during imaging procedures. Verify patient identification, explain procedures, and maintain compassionate patient care throughout the process. Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate results. Maintain accurate documentation and complete all charting per hospital policy. Follow all infection control, radiation safety, and equipment maintenance standards. Assist with departmental workflow and patient scheduling as needed. Required Skills & Experience : Minimum 2 years of X-ray Technologist experience required (3 years preferred for first-time travelers). Hospital or clinical radiology experience required; trauma and / or cardiology imaging experience preferred. Proficiency with standard radiology procedures and patient care best practices. Cerner charting experience preferred. Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workflow efficiently. Must be willing to work holidays as per facility policy (2 of 3 if assignment covers Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s).
