Massachusetts Licensed Medical Director

A company is looking for a Medical Director to oversee clinical management and utilization activities.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide clinical case review and oversight for utilization management activities

Conduct reviews of prior authorizations and medical necessity determinations

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve population health and care quality

Required Qualifications :

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school

8-10+ years of related experience, including 5 years of direct clinical experience

3 years of experience in medical management within a managed care setting

Active or lifetime board certification in a recognized medical specialty

Current unrestricted licensure as an MD or DO in at least one state, preferably Massachusetts or New Hampshire
