Job Description :

The IT Principal Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level network infrastructure. The role involves working with advanced routing, switching, and SD-WAN technologies while ensuring optimal network performance, scalability, and security across multiple environments.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and manage large-scale enterprise network solutions.

Support and troubleshoot POP sites and core network infrastructure.

Lead efforts around Versa SDWAN, Nexus 9Ks, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).

Configure and maintain network security and load balancing solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud, security, and automation initiatives.

Travel up to 35% as required.

POP Sites troubleshooting

Satellite basics

Switching (VXLAN)

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

10+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior / principal role.

Expert-level knowledge of routing / switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP).

Strong experience with firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and network security tools.

Proficiency in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, network automation (Python, Ansible), and monitoring tools.

Relevant certifications such as CCNP / CCIE, JNCIE, or AWS Advanced Networking highly desirable.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with network virtualization (e.g., VMware NSX).

Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and SASE frameworks.
