• Shift dates / schedule : 1845-07 : 15
• Skills required : Admin of blood / products, CVC / PICC lines, Start / Maintain Peripheral IV, Medications (anticovulsants,antihypertensive, heparin, insulin drips, mag sul therapy, oxytocin), Assist w / circumcision, car seat education, cord care, discharge teaching, iv antiobiotics, newborn assessment, neonatal abstinence syndrome, Pain management (opiods, pain assessment), baby friendly protocols, couplet care, incision care, isolation precautions, phlebotomy, vaccine administration
• Skills preferred : phototherapy, teach circumcision care to parents, thermoregulatioin, large for gestinal age, low birth weigh infants, Pain management (epidural, Use of PCA IV), use of breast feeding pump
• Level 2 exp required, (charge experience pref)
• Float Required : Float between Mom and Baby / L&D, Antepartum if they choose
• Return Staff Policy : must be gone for at least 1 year
• Unit scrub color : Navy Blue
• Charting System Experience : Required
• Charting System Name : Cerner
• Community Hospital Experience : Preferred
• Trauma Level I Experience : Preferred
• Trauma Level II Experience : Required
