Essential Functions
1. Must effectively direct the actions of other crew members and communicate with all supervisors and managers
2. Uphold quality, safety and sanitation standards throughout the company.
3. Ensure that all required maintenance is performed or properly elevated to ensure future maintenance
4. Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient plant operations
5. Address training concerns of operations techs and leadership
6. Address equipment concerns aggressively as to minimize downtime
7. Set up on coming shift for a successful run
8. Expected to perform any duties necessary to support team
9. Conduct maintenance activities where required such as valve PMs, broken seal resealing and 90 day resealing
10. Monitor equipment for indications of impending problems and possible operational improvements
11. Work overtime when needed
12. Attend trainings when needed
13. All tasks performed by a supervisor with the exception of official discipline actives in preparation of covering for supervisor time off
14. Tasks as assigned by the HP Hood leadership team
SQF Requirements
1. Maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner
2. Report food safety problems to personal with authority to initiate action
3. Ensure all programs are being upheld and dehumanization is current
4. Maintaining food safety and quality CCP verification
Coverage
1. Must be proficient in operations of all equipment in assigned work area and step in where needed at any time.
Education and Experience
1. Hight school diploma or equivalent
2. Intermediate computer skills (IE Microsoft Office)
3. Excellent trouble shooting skills
4. Excellent Mechanical skills
5. Ability to work well with people
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Self-driven
8. Ability to work independently
Physical Requirements
1. Standing : Long periods (a minimum of 12+ hours)
2. Sitting : Occasionally for short periods
3. Walking : Long periods
4. Bending : Frequently
5. Lifting : Heavy (50+ lbs) frequently
6. Carrying : Heavy (40-60 lbs) frequently distance Pushing / Pulling : under 75 lbs without assistance frequently
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.
The pay range for this position is
$33.78—$35.12 USD
