Temporary Project Accountant

George Fox University's Finance Department is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Temporary Project Accountant.

About the Job :

The Temporary Project Accountant will be responsible for providing support to the Finance team by completing assigned accounting and finance-related special projects.

Key responsibilities will focus on specific, time-bound tasks within the department, providing essential support during a period of increased workload or to complete specific departmental goals.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Assisting with process improvement and documentation for specific departmental functions.
• Completing specific account reconciliations as assigned by the finance team.
• Reviewing existing processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and functionality.
• Compiling and preparing data for internal and external reporting as requested.
• Assisting in preparing for the annual audit or related reporting.
• Communicating effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect and customer service.
• Maintaining integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
• By actions, words, and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.
• Demonstrated experience working cross culturally with respect, appreciation and humility.
• Other special projects or duties as assigned.
