Job Description
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Oversight
- Lead and execute operational plans across 10,000-12,000 units in Houston and San Antonio.
- Shape and enforce operating policies and procedures in alignment with company standards.
- Assist EVP in reducing operational load by taking ownership of defined regional responsibilities.
Team Management & Development
Direct oversight to a team 4-6 Regional and District Managers.Provide coaching, accountability, and structured leadership to ensure consistent performance across properties.Drive retention and engagement of property-level employees.Operational Excellence
Oversee leasing, property management, maintenance, and resident services execution.Ensure adherence to in-house policies and operational frameworks.Uphold a policy-driven culture and maintain process consistency.Performance & Financial Management
Maintain market occupancy and optimize rent performance.Manage operating expenses, financial reporting, and local business plans.Oversee contract management, vendor negotiations, and capital project approvals.Risk, Compliance & Quality
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.Monitor employee turnover and implement retention strategies.Provide operational risk mitigation and oversight across the region.Resident & Stakeholder Engagement

The Successful Applicant
Qualifications
10+ years multifamily property operations experience.Experience managing large portfolios (10K+ units) or similar volume.Demonstrated success managing multi-property teams and multiple layers of leadership.Strong financial management, budgeting, and contract negotiation skills.No specific property management software experience required.Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.What's On Offer
