Unit Details

Patient Population

Cardiac- post procedure (cath / stents / interventions, pacers), arrythmias, CVA, detox / CIWA, sepsis, DKA, respiratory distress, feeding tubes.

Skillset : Tele / 12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), post heart cath care (fem. / TR bands), initiate / titrate drips (cardizem, amio, cardene, nitro, Insulin, Heparin), NIHSS / dysphagia screen / strong neuro assessments, sepsis care, chest tubes, CPAP / Optiflow, PIV insertion.
