  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,950 - $2,090 per week\n

  • Setting : Acute Care, Emergency Department (24-bed ER)\n
  • Start Date : October 27, 2025\n
  • End Date : January 26, 2026\n
  • Duration : 13-week nursing contract\n
  • Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts (Days / Evenings; flexibility required)\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
  • Orientation : 2 shifts (12 hours each)\n

    • \n\nEmergency Room Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license\n
  • Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience\n
  • Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNS or TNCC, NIHSS\n
  • Proficient in moderate sedation and critical care drips\n
  • Phlebotomy skills required\n
  • Ability to work flexible start times and rotating shifts\n
  • First-time travel nurses welcome to apply!\n

    • \n\nER RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics\n
  • Assess, triage, and manage a variety of acute medical conditions, including respiratory, cardiac, trauma, and behavioral health emergencies\n
  • Administer moderate sedation and manage critical care drips as required\n
  • Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, wound care, and assist with procedures such as lumbar punctures\n
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Document patient care using the Meditech electronic charting system\n
  • Float to other hospital units (Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, ICU) as needed, based on experience\n
  • Maintain professional nursing standards and comply with hospital policies, including wearing solid color professional scrubs\n
